This fall marks the first annual McSpadden County fair, to be held at McSpadden Park (Victoria Drive between 3rd and 6th Ave). The Fair is hoped to bring an already vibrant community together for some harvest time fun.
Carnival games, pie contests, raffles, information booths on sustainable urban agriculture practices like beekeeping, gardening, chicken rearing, canning, and effective recycling will be featured, along with the soon to be East van favorite ZUCCHINI RACES. Live music, loads of games, and activities for families and delicious food trucks will fill out the experience. The Fair will also feature baskets for auction and amazing prizes from several local businesses.
