City of Vancouver Consultation Activities

July 7, 2017

It may be summer, but there's lots going on at the City of Vancouver right now. Have your say and share your concerns at these upcoming consultation activities. While many are not based in Vancouver-Hastings, issues like traffic calming, building public spaces and the heritage action plan have far-reaching impacts.

Consultation Activities

  • Cambie Corridor Planning Program - Join the conversation and continue to help us shape the future of the Corridor. These events will be a chance to discuss and provide feedback on all of the draft plan directions presented over the spring and learn about planning for the Oakridge Municipal Town Centre area.
  • Places for People Downtown - We're looking for your feedback on how to plan and deliver exceptional, vibrant, and memorable public spaces, places, and experiences in the downtown peninsula.
  • False Creek South Leasehold Review – To continue work on the False Creek South (FCS) long-term planning project as highlighted in the 2017 Corporate Plan (Goal 6G.) The long-term planning in FCS involves exploring the opportunity to develop unused land in the False Creek South area and increasing the housing stock available. They are also addressing issues raised by the False Creek South community with respect to the upcoming end of their 60-year land leases.
  • Heritage Action Plan - Learn about recent work on the Heritage Action Plan
